Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Mount Airy, NC. As a key player in the success of our business, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery and equipment. You will also use shop machinery to fabricate, repair, or rebuild parts.

Requirements

• Visually inspect and test machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and components
• Conduct equipment inspections for proper operation and mechanical integrity
• Demonstrate proficiency in basic multimeter functions
• Lubricate and maintain all equipment during normal operations and planned/scheduled preventive maintenance work
• Repairs auxiliary components
• Changes bearing and wear components, replaces and adjusts belts, pulleys, and drive components
• Reads blueprints, schematics, installation and arrangement drawings, basic components, electrical diagrams and symbols and install wire machinery to manufacturer’s specifications
• Solders electrical and electronic components
• Creates and modifies work orders within the MAXIMO CMMS system
