Job Description
As an Accounting Generalist, you will support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Financial Closing, driving process improvements and advancing system developments in NetSuite.
Requirements
- Completed commercial training in accounting or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in a similar position
- Further education as a Financial Accountant (Finanzbuchhalter) is required
- Certification as a Chartered Financial Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter) is a plus
- Excellent knowledge of German statutory GAAP (HGB)
- IFRS/US GAAP knowledge is an advantage
- Solid understanding of German VAT regulations
- Very good working knowledge of NetSuite
- Experience with other ERP systems and software is a strong plus
- Excellent German skills (minimum C1) and good English proficiency are required
