Middle High School English Teacher

Inspired Education is seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our Middle School and High School faculty in August 2026. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in English, Literature, or a related field, with a recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching English to Middle and High School students, preferably in an international or IB school.

Requirements

• Teach English Language and Literature to Middle and High School students, following IB standards.
• Design and deliver engaging lessons that develop reading, writing, speaking, and analytical skills.
• Foster a love of literature and language through inquiry-based learning and creative projects.
• Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners and challenge students at all levels.
• Assess and track student progress regularly, providing feedback and adapting teaching methods as needed.
• Integrate technology and digital tools to enhance learning experiences, including writing platforms and multimedia resources.
• Actively contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programs, such as debate clubs, writing workshops, and literary events.
• Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to create interdisciplinary learning opportunities aligned with the IB philosophy.
• Mentor students, guiding their personal, academic, and social development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians on student progress and development.
• Ensure teaching aligns with IB inquiry-based learning and school values, promoting curiosity and a passion for language.
