Liberty Bank and Trust seeks an Escrow Tax Specialist to ensure accurate management of property tax payments and escrow accounts for loans secured by real estate. The ideal candidate will have an associate's degree or equivalent and at least three years of related experience in banking.
Requirements
- Input tax payment data for newly originated loans, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee the relationship with the third-party property tax vendor, ensuring timely and accurate remittance of tax payments.
- Review third-party reports to identify delinquent tax accounts and communicate findings to lenders and/or management.
- Review loan accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness of escrow analyses.
- Balances General Ledgers and deposit accounts related to tax payments.
- Respond to customer and internal inquiries regarding real estate tax payments and general escrow account matters, providing accurate information and support.
- Ensure full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements as well as the bank’s internal policies and procedures.
- Manage special projects, as assigned, to improve loan servicing processes and systems.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
