New Ground is a non-profit agency that helps Long Islanders break the cycle of homelessness and poverty. As a Social Worker, you will provide assessment, guidance, emotional support, counseling, and resources to Veterans and Long Islanders in need.

Requirements

• MSW and LMSW, or plans to secure the LMSW within 12 months of the hire date
• Experience with homelessness, trauma, and/or substance abuse
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid time management and organization skills
• Solid Internet experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
