Innovative Concrete, LLC is searching for a detail-oriented and proactive Commercial Concrete Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting project managers in the planning and execution of concrete projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
Requirements
- Assist project managers with project planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Review contract documents and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Coordinate and distribute project documentation including plans, specifications, and contracts.
- Perform detailed quantity take-offs for materials and prepare submittals.
- Monitor project progress and report on status to project management.
- Collaborate with field personnel and subcontractors to address any site-related issues.
- Analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Participate in weekly project meetings, providing engineering updates and documentation.
- Assist in the preparation of change orders and claims.
- Ensure that safety protocols are strictly followed on-site.
- Maintain accurate project records, including schedules, cost control measures, and documentation of project changes.
- Support the project closeout process by ensuring all documentation is completed and filed properly.
