The Assembly Operations Manager at INNIO’s engine manufacturing facility in Welland, Ontario is responsible for overseeing assembly operations, leading teams, and coordinating first-time quality and on-time delivery. This role focuses on process improvement, customer service, and team development within a high-volume, complex product manufacturing environment. The manager will drive safety and compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 8–10 years of production management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in operations management or engineering (preferred)
- Experience leading a large manufacturing workforce
- Experience in engine assembly or heavy equipment manufacturing (highly desirable)
- Six Sigma and LEAN manufacturing certification (asset)
- Expertise in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong analytical skills
- Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Experience implementing process improvements
- Familiarity with inventory management
- Ability to manage budgets and control costs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
