Operational Buyer

INNIO is seeking a motivated Operational Buyer to perform standard operational sourcing activities within assigned categories. This role involves proactively contributing to process improvement, achieving financial goals, and providing excellent customer service. The buyer will work closely with buyers, material planning specialists, and operations to manage supplier relationships and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Requirements

• Resolve Purchase Order Requisition issues and place PO of repetitive material orders
• Manage item activation process
• Manage RFP & RFQ processes for new production items and services orders
• First piece qualification purchase order placement
• Maintain supplier master data and supplier onboarding workflows
• Provide drawings on request to suppliers
• Maintain sourcing attributes in ERP system
• Independently resolve issues within assigned responsibilities
• Support system testing related to functional responsibilities (ERP, PLM, etc.)
• Drive e-tool penetration with suppliers
• Maintain integrity and ethics in all dealings
• Work in a cross-functional organization
