Registered Nurse (RN)

This Part-Time Registered Nurse position at the Mobile Infirmary is a Free-standing Emergency Department role. Nurses are expected to provide evidence of one of the following emergency department experience: one year as a staff nurse in an Emergency Department, or one year as a staff nurse in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Participation in ACLS, PALS, or NRP courses is required.

Requirements

• Minimum one-year Emergency Department experience as a staff nurse
• Minimum one-year ICU experience as a staff nurse
• BLS certification
• One of the following: Alabama RN license, Current Multi State RN license in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact for Alabama
• ACLS certification may be required
• PALS certification may be required
• ICU, NICU, SICU, PACU, ED, CCU, Peds/PICU, and L&D/Nursery departments participation
