Junior Maintenance Technician

Afton Properties, Inc. is a full-service Real Estate Management Company seeking a full-time Junior Maintenance Technician to maintain properties and ensure healthy and safe environments for tenants. The Junior Maintenance Technician will be responsible for various duties, including upkeep of grounds, building inspections, cleaning, and maintenance repairs.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• Ability to understand instructions verbally and in written form
• Ability to communicate effectively, multi-task, and have good organizational skills
• Ability to work around chemical cleaning solutions
• Ability to frequently stand and walk
• Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies, often weighing up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights, including on roofs and in attics
• Ability to work in confined spaces, such as crawl spaces or mechanical rooms
• Ability to operate equipment and tools, including power tools, hand tools, and heavy machinery
• Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold, rain, or snow
• Ability to travel between properties as needed, including driving a vehicle or using public transportation
