Job Description
INDUS is seeking a Safety Manager to develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Safety Program. This role will focus on protecting employees, government civilians, and the public from operational and property hazards. The Safety Manager will be responsible for OSHA compliance, safety inspections, and hazard prevention, in addition to overseeing safety training and safety performance. The position is contingent and expected to be located in Hawthorne, NV.
Requirements
- An active secret clearance is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Safety, or Management with 6 years experience in occupational and industrial safety.
- Knowledge of explosive safety, health and safety plans, proper munitions storage, and security procedures.
- Fluent in English with strong analytical/report-writing skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Basic computer literacy and data entry skills.
- Must possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication skills.
