Job Description
Inbox Business Technologies is seeking a Linux Administrator to manage, design, and support their enterprise virtualization environment using VMware and Hyper-V. The role involves performance tuning, capacity planning, and ensuring the secure operation of virtual infrastructure, with a focus on 24x7 operations. They are looking for someone highly committed to system uptime and SLA adherence.
Requirements
- Administer, design, and deploy virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V technologies.
- Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for both virtual and physical infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot advanced virtualization features, including High Availability, Site Recovery Manager, Distributed Resource Scheduler, and vMotion.
- Manage networking components within the virtual infrastructure, including vSwitches and VLAN tagging.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation, including SOPs, KPIs, SLAs, and change records.
- Support 24x7 operations, including on-call rotation, incident response, and issue resolution.
