Job Description
Impinj is a leading RAIN RFID provider and Internet of Things pioneer focused on connecting everyday items to the Internet. They are seeking a Principal Machine Learning Engineer to contribute to Platform Engineering, working collaboratively with software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to design and develop RAIN RFID solutions. The role involves leveraging machine learning to address enterprise customer needs and ensuring high-quality data for model evaluation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- At least 15 years of experience building end-to-end machine learning products
- Proficiency in Python, R, C++, and machine learning libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Advanced understanding of linear algebra, calculus, probability, and statistics
- Experience with Git and version control systems
- Demonstrated experience in algorithmic optimization, parallel processing, and efficient data structures
- Strong communication skills
- Experience leading multi-functional projects and teams
