Illumina is seeking a Sr Sales Specialist to drive new and emerging products business in APAC, facilitating adoption of Illumina technology across the region. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and supporting sales opportunities, collaborating with sales, channel partners, and marketing teams, and providing strategic plans for winning new business and expanding market share.
Requirements
- Demonstrate a customer-first mindset to ensure customer success.
- 3+ years of experience in sales life sciences or related industries required.
- Experience in single cell RNA sequencing and spatial transcriptomics required.
- Experience and understanding of genomic technologies and how they can be utilized in the single cell and spatial transcriptomics markets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
- Ability to successfully operate in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
- Ability to evaluate new market opportunities.
- Proven ability to lead and influence a broad spectrum of constituents (product management, sales, etc.) with divergent interests in order to create a defined and focused course of action.
- Proficiency in English is a must. Outstanding written, verbal, presentation, and training skills, capable of conveying complex information with clarity.
- Proven ability to engage in complex customer interactions whilst maintaining positive customer relations.
