Job Description
As a Field Service Engineer 2, you will provide on-site service of Illumina equipment at customer sites, including installations, troubleshooting, and repairs. You will work closely with customers and colleagues to provide timely technical assistance. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in Sweden, with a preference for candidates based in the Uppsala area or Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmo.
Requirements
- Interface between the field organization and internal support structure
- Install, upgrade, repair, and maintain instrument systems within defined territory
- Provide technical support to staff, contractors, and customers
- Manage service parts inventory levels
- Maintain up-to-date customer information, technical files, and appropriate databases
