Job Description
The Legal Advisor II (Attorney) provides primary legal advice to the Office of the Inspector General, supervises staff, and participates in investigations, audits, and policy development.
Requirements
- Requires knowledge of common law, Federal and State laws and regulations pertaining to State government
- Ability to plan, supervise and review the work of investigations and accompanying legal and quasi-legal activities
- Ability to analyze and appraise facts, evidence, and precedents in developing pertinent issues and applying fundamental principles to unusual, difficult, and complex problems
