Information Systems Specialist II - Vehicle Application

Performs highly responsible technical work in the analysis and evaluation of operations to determine needed revisions of existing information systems or needed conversion to computer-based information systems.

Requirements

• Writes complex computer programs in the COBOL programming language
• Accesses programs residing on the mainframe via timesharing
• Develops and applies advanced cross-checks and auditing procedures
• Coordinates and directs feasibility studies
• Takes responsibility for portions of the highly technical aspects of application systems
