Job Description
IKO Industries Ltd. is a market leader in the manufacturing of roofing and building materials. The company is seeking an Operator - Level 3 to run the production line for its Brampton, ON facility. The role involves operating machinery, ensuring quality specifications, and performing general housekeeping duties.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in heavy-industrial manufacturing or construction industry
- Minimum 1 year of proven forklift operating experience
- Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time
- Manual Dexterity and Attention to detail
- Ability to follow direction and specific instructions
- Good communication skills; Fluent in English - Reading, Writing and Speaking
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
- Must be able to walk and/or stand 90% of the shift
- Must be able to work at heights and in confined spaces
