Job Description
IKO Industries Ltd. is a market leader in the manufacturing of roofing and building materials. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role will maintain production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.
Requirements
- Have a valid Ontario Industrial Mechanic License 433A (Red Seal Certificate of Qualifications)
- Have full set of metric standard tools
- Exposure with mechanical devices, pneumatic controls and welding/cutting
- Have at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Able to read mechanical drawings
- Able to work shifts as well as some extended hours and weekends
- Have interpersonal, problem solving & trouble shooting skills
- Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
- Able to walk and/or stand 70-90% of the shift
- Able to work at heights and in confined space
