Maintenance Mechanic

IKO Industries Ltd. is a market leader in the manufacturing of roofing and building materials. The company values quality, integrity, and trustworthiness and is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to identify and correct unsafe conditions, troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment, and work variable shifts.

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance or a Certified Industrial Mechanic or Millwright
• Minimum of five years maintenance experience in a plant setting
• Millwright skills, welding and machining experience preferred
• Excellent working knowledge of appropriate use of hand tools and maintenance equipment
• Ability to properly disassemble, clean, repair and reassemble complex mechanical devices
• Ability to fabricate simple parts for corrective maintenance
• Ability to read and understand detailed repair & instruction manuals
• Must be able to work with computer based maintenance software
• Possess superior analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Must be able to safely lift and move up to 75 pounds on a routine basis
• Must be able to access equipment for repair and maintenance
• Requires excellent manual dexterity
