IKO Industries Ltd. is a market leader in the manufacturing of roofing and building materials. We are seeking a Corporate Electrical Technologist to support the design, development, testing, installation and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems at our plants.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, preferred or a diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
- 5+ years' related work experience as an electrical engineer, electrical technician/technologist or any combination of these positions
- Proficient in reading and developing Electrical Control System and Single Line Drawings and Schematics
- Proficient in Allen Bradley PLC and HMI programming; Siemens programming knowledge would be an asset
- Experience with control system obsolescence upgrades would be an asset
- Knowledge of Ethernet networks and network communication standards
- Safety control systems and Safety Logic Programming with zoning
- PSR reports
- Computer skills – AutoCAD, MS Project, Excel, Word, etc.
- Excellent English verbal and written skills
