Production Supervisor

IDEX is looking for a Production Supervisor to manage a manufacturing department, production line, or production site. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of production experience, a technical degree in manufacturing/production, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Requirements

• Proactively supports a culture of safety and quality as top organizational priorities
• Actively participates in ongoing training initiatives and collaborates with team members and leadership to share information in a structured process
• Direct the work of department employees and leaders to meet quality and on-time delivery requirements; address production challenges and communicate to appropriate individuals
• Provide consistent and timely feedback, coaching and mentoring to employees on development, performance, and conduct
• Monitor, review and approve employee time records in a consistent and timely manner
• Train and coach employees on department work instructions, processes, procedures, policies, and safety standards
• Coach and mentor team leads on leadership skills such as communication, results, accountability, etc.
• Troubleshoots technical problems, calibrates equipment, and coordinates with the Maintenance Department the monitoring of maintenance schedules for preventive maintenance
• Determine MRO supply needs to keep their area running smoothly and efficiently
• Assisting with process Engineering and designing work holding/fixtures for jobs
• Control and minimize labor overtime
• Other duties as assigned
