Job Description
Ideogram is seeking an Applied Machine Learning Engineer to bridge research and product, creating production features for their first-party app and API. This role involves experimenting with generative models, fine-tuning models for creative use cases, setting metrics, and collaborating with product, engineering, and other teams. The ideal candidate is proactive, curious, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of building and shipping ML products
- Write backend code in Python/PyTorch/Jax
- Design benchmarks and evaluation metrics, run errors, debug data/training/inference stability
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and infra teams
- Curate, label, and clean datasets
- Familiarity with modern deep learning (transformers, diffusion, encoders)
- Curiosity and fast learning in a startup setting
