Job Description
Jobs Bridge Inc is seeking a Sr. Hadoop Developer with 5+ years of experience in Hadoop development and implementation. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of Hadoop Architecture, HDFS, and experience with Horton Works Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, and Apache Spark. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in Java, shell scripting, and deployment in Linux/Unix environments are required.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience with Hadoop development and implementation
- Good knowledge on Hadoop Architecture and HDFS
- Proven understanding with Horton Works Hadoop, HBase, Hive, Pig, and Apache Storm
- Ability to write MapReduce jobs
- Hands on experience in HiveQL
- Ability to write Pig Latin scripts
- Managing and deploying HBase
- Parallel distributed processing based on the MapReduce paradigm with Apache Spark
- Experience with Java and shell scripting
- Experience with jenkins for Continuous Integration
- Good knowledge in back-end programming, specifically Java, JS, Node.js and OOAD
- Experience writing to network-based API’s - preferably REST/JSON or XML/SOAP
- Analytical and problem solving skills, applied to Big Data domain
- Strong experience of deployments and administration in Linux/Unix environments
