K-5th Special Education RISE Teacher Applicant Pool - IDEA Upper Rio Grande Valley Region (25-26)

IDEA Special Education RISE teachers are tasked with ensuring that students with learning, cognitive, emotional, and physical disabilities reach their full potential through high achievement expectations. Teachers provide instruction in a variety of subjects, support families, and implement IEPs. This is a full-time role within the RISE program, participating in a multi-state network of public charter schools.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution
• Experience in a Special Education classroom setting with students who have significant disabilities
• Valid Texas state certification in Special Education
• Knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to a multitude of situations in the school environment
