Job Description
KMBC-TV is seeking a collaborative Newscast Director (PT) to join their production team. This part-time position focuses on operating and maintaining their automated production system for delivering high-quality, engaging newscasts. The Director is responsible for technical aspects, collaboration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of the news product.
Requirements
- Direct live and recorded newscasts using Grass Valley Ignite
- Collaborate with producers, anchors, reporters, and technical staff
- Monitor technical aspects of production
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues
- Maintain awareness of newsroom operations
- Working flexible hours including holidays and weekends
