ICAO CDI is responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and closure of Technical Assistance (TA) and Technical Cooperation (TC) projects.
Job Description
The job description involves preparing and managing technical assistance programs for airport certification and SMS implementation. The expert will review relevant aspects of civil aviation legislation, develop national aerodrome standards, and conduct assessments of aerodrome certification and SMS related deficiencies.
Requirements
- University degree or equivalent academic qualifications and training
- At least six years of experience in an airline, airport, government or civil aviation organization
- Experience in the planning, organization and implementation of security measures for the safeguarding of civil aviation, aerodromes and facilities
- Familiarity with ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs)
- Good command of oral and written English
- Working knowledge of French or another official language of the Organization (Arabic, Chinese, Russian, or Spanish)
