Sr Manager - Infrastructure, Tech & Ops

The Sr. Manager, Infrastructure, Technology & Operations is the technical owner of all network and telecommunication infrastructure deployed in AVANGRID. This role includes design and optimize the company’s network infrastructure ensuring the right levels of redundancy and reliability. The Sr. Manager, Infrastructure, Technology & Operations role reports into the Director – Network Technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Security systems or a related field and a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum of two years as a Technology Manager, including managerial experience in strategic project execution, strategic planning, risk management, and change management while engaging and influencing various stakeholders at all levels across the company.
• Demonstrated history managing engineering teams covering some of the following technologies: routing, switching, enterprise wireless, telecommunications, VoIP, SIP, enterprise Cisco voice infrastructure, etc.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple work activities and meet target deadline
• Ability to communicate with and influence technical and non-technical customers, colleagues, and vendors.
• Ability to share knowledge and mentor and manage less experienced team members
• Strong commitment to personnel safety and IT security.
