Craftsperson (Lines)

We are seeking a Craftsperson (Lines) to construct, maintain, and repair the electrical distribution network to required policy and standards. The role involves managing development of assigned trainees, carrying out site and operational risk assessments, and ensuring awareness of and compliance with Company Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge in Overhead Construction, Maintenance, and fault location on overhead networks
• Sound knowledge of Energy Networks policies, procedures, and working practices
• Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation
• Awareness of network development policies and procedures
• Working knowledge of network and business data and network management systems
• Contract & Service Level Agreement (SLA) management and general commercial & regulatory awareness
• Ability to devise solutions to complex problems/challenges
• Ability to communicate with customers and colleagues
• Use of electrical test equipment
