Job Description
A General Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting space, and front of the house areas. They will perform routine maintenance tasks, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Minimum one year building maintenance experience
- Hotel experience preferred
- Good customer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical or vocational training in a related field preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts
