Job Description
This position involves the Plastic Injection Process, ensuring efficient production, troubleshooting issues, optimizing process parameters, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves training technicians, participating in quality control, and potentially leading process improvements. It requires strong analytical and communication skills.
Requirements
- Knowledge of HUTCHINSON Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures
- Responsible for all aspects of plastic molding process
- Participate as part of the production team supporting the plastic injection process
- Support process troubleshooting in day-to-day manufacturing
- Support problem solving and root cause analysis to reduce scrap and rework
- Develop and conduct DOE to optimize the process
- Lead continuous improvement activities
- Track KPIs and use PDCA methodologies to improve KPIs
- Provide process training to technicians
- Participate and provide input into Plastic Tooling Designs
- Support the development and maintenance of standards applied to plastic process and tooling
