The Manufacturing Supervisor supports the development of staff and ongoing operation of multiple work cells, focusing on 'Best in Class' processes and procedures. They assist in selecting and training production staff, developing policies and work instructions, and managing manufacturing operations for safe, high-quality, and efficient production.
Requirements
- Manage multiple work cells effectively to meet daily safety, quality, and production metric standards
- Select, develop, and manage a high-performing team of production personnel
- Provide technical assistance to operators as needed
- Develop technical documentation (policies, procedures, work instructions, etc.)
- Manage day-to-day utilization of employees including scheduling, overtime, and development
- Lead employee accountability/communication meetings and manage employee performance through expectation setting and performance feedback
- Communicate effectively to other members of the operations and process engineering teams
- Enforce company policy and ensure adherence to accepted procedures
- Maintain accurate records and files according to company policy
- Ensure all relevant safety and legal requirements are always observed
