Engineering Technician

Engineering Technician at Hussey Seating - Adapt bleacher and chair platform product lines to meet event configuration needs. Design Engineer-to-Order solutions, create code compliant drawings, and utilize 3D design software.

Requirements

• Proficient with 3D parametric modeling of parts and large assemblies
• Design experience with sheet metal fabrication, structural steel, Aluminum, welding, and wood
• Mechanical aptitude – fasteners, machine design, hydraulics
• Experience with quick turn-around prototyping and testing
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical prints
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment
• Ability to work hands on in the lab and in the field
