Job Description
This part-time Police Officer position at Lake Erie Metropark involves patrolling the park's properties, investigating crimes, enforcing laws, and providing assistance to visitors. Officers will focus on vandalism prevention, fire suppression, and maintaining park safety and maintenance. Potential duties include assisting with fire scenes, patrols of various locations, and conducting investigations.
Requirements
- MCOLES Certified Officer or certifiable Police Academy graduate in the State of Michigan.
- Associate’s Degree or minimum 60 credit hours earned at an accredited school.
- Valid State of Michigan motor vehicle license.
- Unsullied personal life free from crimes of moral turpitude.
- Possess a valid State of Michigan driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Able to observe situations analytically and objectively.
