Job Description
Humber River Health is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join their Acute Pain Services (APS) team. The APS focuses on providing effective and safe pain management for surgical patients through training and education. They are committed to providing high-quality, patient-focused, expert care and collaboration with the University of Toronto and Queen’s University.
Requirements
- Clinical Master’s Degree in Nursing
- Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current BCLS certification
- Demonstrated skills in patient assessment
- Patient and family centred skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking, conflict resolution, problem recognition, and problem solving skills
- Experience in mentoring, precepting, and/or teaching
- Knowledge of consultation process
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Active participation in relevant professional organizations
