Job Description
Humber River Health is seeking a Clerical Support Associate to join the W-Birthing Unit. This part-time position involves clerical support, managing patient records, assisting with billing and scheduling, and providing customer service. Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Completion of a Community College Medical Secretary Diploma (asset)
- Minimum 1 year recent clerical/office administration experience in a healthcare setting
- Good keyboarding skills, with minimum typing speed of 40 WPM
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Suite
- MEDITECH computer experience required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent attendance and discipline
- Working knowledge of basic medical terminology
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
