Job Description
We're looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead our Globalisation Squad, a cross-functional team shaping the foundations of the Telus Health app as it scales across regions, platforms, and products. This role will lead a group of mobile and backend engineers, working closely with Product, Design, Data & AI, and partnering across engineering, cybersecurity, legal, and compliance to deliver a truly global-ready platform.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 1+ year in an engineering leadership role
- Strong technical engineering background, ideally across native mobile (iOS/Android) and backend & cloud systems
- Proven ability to lead teams through rapid iteration and scaling phases
- Experience implementing clean architecture, modular codebases, and CI/CD automation
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Fluent English (German is a plus)
