Job Description
The HR Manager oversees all aspects of human resources practices and processes, supporting business goals by developing and implementing people strategies, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive, high-performance workplace culture.
Requirements
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, development, performance management, and offboarding
- Serve as a trusted resource for employee relations issues; coach managers on conflict resolution and performance improvement
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll coordination
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, company policies, and HR best practices
- Lead performance review processes and support career development initiatives
- Design and deliver training programs related to animal handling safety, compassion fatigue, workplace safety, and leadership development
- Maintain HR metrics, reports, and employee records
- Promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee engagement initiatives
- Manage HR budgets and vendor relationships (benefits providers, etc.)
