Job Description
As a CAD technician, you will help create drawing packages for utility customers and assist in the distribution and monitoring of internal CAD workload. You will work with AutoCAD and/or Microstation, and train and mentor new CAD techs and interns.
Requirements
- 3 years related work experience in AutoCAD or Microstation
- Familiarity of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Familiarity of station and structural layouts and plans
- Advanced knowledge of customer programs
- Advanced knowledge of drafting software
- Advanced knowledge of drafting practices
- Advanced knowledge of customer standards
- Basic knowledge of electrical circuits
- High attention to detail
- Good communications skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Advanced working knowledge of MS office suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects
