Accounting and Fund Specialist

The Accounting and Fund Specialist position has primary responsibilities related to payments to vendors, managing new and existing funds, and reporting their balances to campus partners. The role requires attention to detail, accounting knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a professional setting
• Accounting degree preferred
• Knowledge of basic accounting processes and non-profit and fund accounting experience
• Intermediate-to-advanced computer skills covering a variety of software, including Microsoft products
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to gather data, analyze information, and prepare accurate reports
• Flexibility and ability to perform diverse tasks in a timely way
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member
• Reliable and predictable attendance
