Job Description
Housecall Pro is a fintech company founded in 2013, focused on providing a SaaS platform for Home Service Professionals to manage their businesses. They offer a simple, cloud-based field service management software aimed at streamlining job scheduling, dispatching, invoicing, and more, aiming to improve lives and create a supportive environment for their employees. They are seeking a Ruby on Rails Engineer II for a remote position in Brazil.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience.
- At least 3 years of professional experience programming Ruby on Rails applications.
- Advanced knowledge of Ruby and Rails frameworks.
- Experience with Sidekiq and background job processing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English).
- Experience working with high-availability systems and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong passion for using AI technologies to enhance productivity and innovation.
- Experience with React or other frontend frameworks (if applicable).
- Understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles (if applicable).
- Commitment to continuous learning and feedback-sharing culture.
- Passion for clean, readable, and testable code.
