Job Description
House Rx is seeking a Care Coordinator to improve the specialty pharmacy experience for patients and caregivers by completing authorizations, processing claims, coordinating medication dispensing, and interacting with patients. The role involves being a liaison between the patient, provider, and pharmacist and requires collaboration and initiative. The position offers a remote work environment with potential for on-site clinic presence.
Requirements
- Mastered core pharmacy technician skills
- Experience processing claims and dispensing medications
- Proficiency in pharmacy software (QS1, ComputerRx, PioneerRx, WAM, etc)
- Experience navigating specialty medication benefits investigation
- Comfortable engaging in phone and in-person interaction
- Understanding of specialty medications and therapeutic areas
- Creative problem-solving skills
- Initiative and teamwork skills
