Job Description
The Installation Technician will be responsible for quality installation practices and customer training during installation of services including video, voice, and internet.
Requirements
- Assist installation and other teams with customer activation of fiber-optic telecommunication in subscriber homes
- Install and service full video services, including analog, digital, and HD TV
- Install, service, and disconnect telephone and internet customers
- Punch down telephone lines
- Maintain a safe work environment by following safe practices and adhering to safety policies
- Troubleshoot video, telephone and internet problems from any telecommunications demark to customer premise equipment
- Test and tone all drop wires from equipment room to end user location
- Work on an on-call schedule rotation
- Other duties as assigned
