Job Description
Horizon3.ai is a fast-growing, remote cybersecurity company focused on proactively finding and fixing exploitable attack vectors before criminals do. They are seeking junior AI/ML engineers to contribute to the development of AI Offensive Security (AI OffSec) platforms, specifically focusing on reinforcement learning and model tuning. The role involves designing, training, and testing AI systems to emulate real adversaries.
Requirements
- Develop AI systems for vulnerability detection and autonomous security testing
- Design and train reinforcement-learning and fine-tuning workflows (e.g., PPO, LoRA/QLoRA)
- Automate security testing pipelines with Python and modern ML frameworks
- Contribute to feature development from concept through deployment
- Identify and document vulnerabilities in AI-native applications and LLM workflows
- Strong problem-solving and clear communication skills
- Located in or willing to relocate to the Indianapolis metropolitan area
