Job Description
The Custodial Supervisor is responsible for performing custodial duties, supervision of custodial crew(s), minor maintenance, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that the facilities are maintained in a healthy, safe, and sanitary manner.
Requirements
- Provide training and leadership to assigned crew members
- Perform daily quality assurance inspections of assigned work areas
- Promote good relations with customers
- Forward supply and equipment orders to immediate supervisor
- Verify and coordinate schedules and report time worked for custodians
- Perform landscaping/cutting grass/snow removal
- Ability to work weekends
- Ability to work on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and move up and down stairs
- Knowledge of current trends and practices in the usage and upkeep of light and heavy custodial equipment
- Knowledge of cleaning supplies/chemicals and their Material Safety Data Sheets
- Knowledge of relevant workplace safety practices
- Perform cleaning tasks as required and work flexible hours
