Director of Litigation and Regulatory Affairs

HopSkipDrive is a technology company that solves complex transportation challenges where there is a heightened need for safety, equity, and care. We're seeking a Director of Compliance & Litigation to help manage our growing book of litigation and claims, and provide expert legal advice regarding day-to-day company compliance related to transportation network company (TNC) regulations and regulations applicable to work with minors.

Requirements

• JD & ideally 10+ years experience in compliance and 5+ years in litigation
• Ideal legal experience in either a school district, transportation network company or regulations impacting work with minors
• Proven ability to manage internal audit procedures
• Proven ability to facilitate implementation of compliance requirements, setting up systems and processes to ensure compliance
• Experience managing people
• Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and apply them to practical business operations
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in documentation and reporting
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving regulatory environment
