Information Systems Security Officer

Hoplite Solutions is seeking Information Systems Security Officers (ISSO) to join their team. The ISSO will be responsible for the Authorization and Assessment process under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) for new and existing systems, ensuring authority to operate compliance. This role requires teamwork, collaboration with stakeholders, and maintaining a high degree of security focus.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience in security authorization)
• DoD 8570.1 compliant IAM Level I certification (CompTIA Security+), higher level certification (GSLC, CAP, CASP, CISM, CISSP) or equivalent
• Working knowledge of security authorization processes, NIST SP800-37, ICD503, CNSSI1253, etc.
• Knowledge of commercial security tools and their uses
• Experience with hardware/software security implementations
• Knowledge of communication protocols, encryption techniques/tools, and PKI
• Familiarity with security incident management and collaborative incident response
