Job Description
Hood Industries is seeking a Reliability Engineer to lead the development and improvement of reliability processes within the Waynesboro, Mississippi lumber facility. This role involves supporting the design and implementation of new sawmill systems while promoting a positive employee culture and maintaining company policies and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will improve mill reliability, reduce downtime, and contribute to long-term sustainability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a reliability, maintenance, or engineering role.
- Strong knowledge of reliability principles, practices, systems, and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, drive initiatives, and implement reliability best practices.
- CMMS experience.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and effective team building skills.
