Job Description
Hood Distribution is seeking an Architectural and Design Specifications Representative to manage the architectural and design process for their specialty brand products. The role involves building relationships with architects and designers, generating leads, and gaining specifications within a defined geographic area. It's a hands-on position focused on sales and brand promotion, requiring strong communication and organizational skills.
Requirements
- Identify, initiate, build, and maintain relationships with key architects, designers, and product specifiers.
- Develop and execute programs for architects and designers.
- Provide technical assistance and cross-training to other A&D professionals.
- Monitor market trends and competitor pricing.
- Manage vendor displays and merchandising samples.
- Utilize CRM and documentation tools.
- Schedule and conduct knowledge sessions.
