As a Mortgage Loan Officer, you'll guide new and existing clients through the mortgage process, sourcing business from real estate agents, builders, referral partners, and consumer marketing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2+ years of experience in mortgage sales, processing, or underwriting.
- Proven sales and customer relationship management experience.
- Active Mortgage Loan Originator license through NMLS, meeting all state and federal licensing requirements.
- Ability to travel locally for business development and client meetings (reliable transportation required).
- Knowledge of conventional and government loan guidelines or the ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to analyze client needs and recommend appropriate mortgage solutions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently to achieve production goals.
